Homologation and Modification Services for Commercial Vehicles
For Otokar, Isuzu and Mercedes commercial vehicles, we manage both the modification and the post-modification homologation (certification) process under one roof, with our authorised in-house engineers.
Why is homologation required for commercial vehicle modifications?
Approval from the competent authorities is mandatory for the modification or manufacture of a vehicle. Automotive homologation is the process of certifying that the vehicle, or a particular component, meets the requirements set by the statutory regulatory bodies.
In applications such as the chassis modification, additional axle or GVW upgrade we carry out on your Otokar, Isuzu or Mercedes commercial vehicle, the vehicle goes through this process. The same team handles both the modification and the certification: because our processes are designed to interlock with the vehicle manufacturer's, we achieve maximum transparency and minimum lead time.

How does the homologation process work?
All of these steps are carried out by our authorised in-house engineers.
Preliminary development tests
On the prototypes we design, we carry out our preliminary tests with our own test equipment and under the supervision of our specialist engineers, just as a vehicle manufacturer would.
Authorised technical service tests
Together with technical services authorised by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, the technical units affected by the modification are tested and the test reports are obtained.
Engineering documentation and TSE application
The engineering documentation (project file) for the modified vehicle is prepared and an application for certification is submitted to TSE.

We carry out chassis modifications on the Otokar Atlas 15, Atlas 11 and Atlas 9. As an approved supplier of Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi A.Ş., we provide a bodywork service under warranty.
We carry out preliminary development tests with our own test equipment. The technical units affected by the modification are then tested together with technical services authorised by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, and the test reports are obtained.
